The Home Campus Teachers, Counselor, and their Administrator will need to decide if a student's placement at the District Discipline Alternative Education Program (DAEP) will disqualify the student for participation in current elective course options.
The Home Campus CTE and Arts Teachers and Administrators will communicate the decision to the student and parent prior to the beginning of the placement.
In addition, the Home Campus Teachers, Counselor, and Administrator will provide the student and parent with an academic plan for recovering the credit.
Be sure if the student participates in special programs that the related case manager and coordinators are also collaborated with.

Elective Courses that students will continue with at the DAEP will be submitted to students through the Google Classroom. (1 - Google Classroom per teacher per course)
Work sent through Google Classroom must be sent as an assignment, not an announcement.
NearPod assignments or lessons can be sent through Google Classrooms.
Students will have access to a computer to complete their assignments.
Send enough work to ensure your student does not get behind in your class during the placement.
Be sure all assignments have due dates, special education modifications, and necessary resources attached for completion.
The MAP doesn't have the same resources so please provide what students will need.
