The Discipline Flowchart is the District Required Protocol for handling discipline issues.
TEC Chapter 37 and the PEIMS codes are provided to help distinguish between mandatory and discretionary placements. The PEIMS codes also provide clarity on the prohibition of using certain codes when there is no violation of the Texas Penal Code.
ONLY Administrators should conduct the Bullying Investigation and enter the results in Skyward.
The MAP Principal may request additional information from the home campus regarding the students at the MAP. The purpose is NOT to prevent a placement, but ensure accuracy and provide the MAP staff with more information to improve the intervention plan.
